An old tribal rug depicting the 5th century king Bahram IV who earned his epithet after his formidable hunting exploits. Here we see a closeup of the aforementioned Shah on his horse with little else apart from sparse background scenery. Interestingly and intriguingly, the rug is woven on all-wool Haft Rang "rainbow" fringes.
