This brings a smile to my face whenever I see it. I remember the day my dad (Allah yerhamo) bought it. It's a dear one.

This vintage part silk Tabriz is a one off. Hunting scenes were rarely woven there and this one is an exception on all counts. The medallion in the middle adds a decorative feel to it so it is both a portrait/landscape and a furnishing rug!

The quality of weave is super fine with a silk foundation and silk highlights. The wool quality is divine, very soft and lush. The tones are very soft and attractive. Nothing loud or glaring, yet all is very rich and impressive.
